Find your model number
- Look for the rating tag. On most Viking grills it’s behind or under the drip tray, or inside the cart door.
- Write down the full model number, including the letters and numbers at the end (like RT, RE2 or SS01). Viking changed parts between those versions.
- Can’t find it or read it? Text us a photo of the tag, or of the grill, and we’ll tell you which parts fit.
Reading a Viking model number
VQGI and VQGFS are 7 Series grills, built-in and freestanding. VGBQ, VGIQ and DVGBQ are Viking Professional grills.
The numbers that follow include the width: 30, 36, 41/42, 53/54 inches.
VGSB, VQGSB and VQGPB are side and power burners. VQEWD is a warming drawer.
Why the ending matters
Viking kept the same base model for years while changing parts. Endings like RT, RE1, RE2 or SS01 tell us which version you have.
