Find your Summerset model number
- Find the rating plate. It lists the model, the gas type and the serial number.
- Look on the outside of the firebox (the grill basin). On some models it is also on the underside of the drip tray.
- No luck? The model number is also on the front of your owner’s manual.
- Text us a photo of the plate. We’ll tell you exactly which parts fit.
Reading a Summerset model number
The letters are the series and the number is the width in inches. TRLPRO32 is a 32 inch TRL Pro, SZR40 is a 40 inch Sizzler and QST36 is a 36 inch Quest.
The end of the model number is the gas type. -NG is natural gas. -LP or a trailing L (like SZR32L) is propane. Valves, orifices and regulators are different for each gas.
Old or new Sizzler and Sizzler Pro?
The original grills are model SIZ and SIZPRO. The current ones are SZR and SZRPRO. Many parts changed, so check the letters on your plate before you order.
TRL or TRL Pro?
The original TRL came in 26, 32, 38 and 44 inch sizes. The TRLPRO comes in 32 and 40 inch. The TRLD is a separate line.
