How Much Do Artisan Grill Parts Cost? [2026 Prices]

Typical part prices
$19 to $470
Low$19Middle of the pack$100High$470

Based on current listings checked October 2026. Your exact price depends on model, size and part number.

Most Artisan replacement parts cost about $30 to $430. A factory U-burner runs about $205 to $235 (aftermarket about $100 to $120), a main burner valve about $60, and a briquette tray assembly about $210 to $280.

Price insights

  • U-burner, ARTP/ART2/AAE (17 inch): about $235
  • U-burner, ARTP/AAEP 32: about $205
  • Infrared sear burner: $430 to $470
  • Main burner gas valve: about $60

Artisan grills are built by Alfresco, and many Artisan parts are literally sold as Alfresco and Artisan parts. That helps on availability. Prices sit in the upper middle of the market: more than Weber or mass-market parts, less than Lynx or Alfresco's own top line in most cases. Most repairs on an Artisan land between $60 and $250 in parts.

The catch is fitment. Artisan has made several series (ART, ART2, AAE American Eagle, AAEP American Eagle Plus, and ARTP Professional) in 26, 32, 36 and 42 inch widths, and the parts changed partway through production. Get the serial number before you buy anything.

What drives the price of Artisan parts

  • Series and serial number. On AAEP and ARTP grills, factory parts diagrams split at serial 17-99999 vs 18-00000 and newer. Briquette trays, burners and grates are the parts most likely to differ.
  • Grill width. Burners, grates and briquette trays come in several widths, and a 42 inch grill often uses wider, pricier pieces.
  • OEM vs aftermarket. Artisan is unusual among upscale brands in that exact-fit aftermarket burners, grates, trays and electrodes exist, usually at about half the factory price.
  • Stock. Common parts are easy to get. Older ART series trays and end caps can take longer.

Part-by-part breakdown

Burners

The stainless U-burner is the part that wears out most. The factory U-burner used in most ARTP, ART2 and AAE grills runs about $235, and the 32 inch Professional version is about $205. Exact-fit aftermarket versions run about $99 to $119. The infrared sear burner is the expensive outlier at about $430 to $470. Our burner cost guide compares these with other brands, and infrared burner costs covers sear burners.

Valves, manifolds and regulators

The main burner valve is about $60 and the rotisserie burner valve about $45. Note that the valve comes without the orifice, so you either move the old orifice over or buy a new one for about $9 to $13. Make sure you get the right orifice for natural gas or propane. A replacement manifold runs about $100 to $130, and the regulator about $86. These are gas safety parts. Buy factory parts, not universal ones. See our grill valve guide and regulator and hose prices.

Ignition and lights

  • U-burner electrode tip: about $62 OEM, about $19 to $21 aftermarket
  • 4 point spark module (115V): about $98
  • Some older Quik-Liter style modules: about $140 to $145
  • Momentary ignition switch: about $59
  • Weather boot for the ignition switch: about $8
  • Interior lamp: about $44, light switch about $56

Artisan grills use plug-in ignition, so a dead GFCI outlet or a tripped breaker can look like a bad module. Check power first. Our igniter cost guide and grill light prices go further.

Briquette trays and briquettes

Artisan grills use ceramic briquettes in a stainless tray over each burner. A complete tray assembly runs about $210 for the 9 3/4 inch size, about $230 for the 13 1/2 to 13 3/4 inch size, and about $282 for the ARTP-42 tray. Tray bases alone run about $100 to $130, and aftermarket assemblies about $175 to $200. If only the briquettes are crumbling, a set runs about $31 to $56 in universal packs or about $99 for the factory set. A 36 inch ARTP uses two trays and a 32 uses three, so price it out per grill. More in our briquette tray cost guide.

Cooking grates

Factory grate sections run about $185 for the 9 13/16 inch width, about $199 for 13 13/16 inch and about $254 for 12 13/16 inch. Aftermarket stainless rod grates run about $64 to $109. The sear zone grate is about $429. Measure your old grate before ordering, since Artisan used several sizes. Compare in our grill grate guide.

Rotisserie

The 36 inch rotisserie kit with motor, spit, forks and counterweight runs about $310. A replacement spit rod is about $95 and the fork set about $35. A universal rotisserie motor that fits a standard mount runs about $60. See rotisserie parts costs.

Knobs and trim

Control knobs are about $30 each for ART and ARTP 32 and 36 inch grills. End cap assemblies run about $110 and access door handles about $37 to $46.

OEM vs aftermarket

For burners, grates, briquette trays and electrodes, aftermarket Artisan parts are a reasonable way to save money if they are listed as exact fit for your series and serial range. For valves, manifolds, regulators and anything else that carries gas, buy OEM. A universal valve that almost fits is how leaks start.

How to find your model and serial number

Pull the drip tray out. The rating label with the model and serial number is underneath it. The model tells you the series (for example ARTP-36 or AAEP-32) and the serial tells you which side of the 2017 to 2018 parts change your grill falls on. Take a photo of the label and send it with any parts order.

DIY vs hiring a pro

Knobs, grates, briquettes, trays and a burner swap are reasonable owner jobs. Valve and manifold work involves gas fittings and a leak test. Ignition problems on a plug-in grill take some electrical troubleshooting. Labor varies with how the grill is installed, how corroded the hardware is, and whether the part has to be ordered.

Most companies in our network are dealers or have dealer accounts, so they can usually get the correct Artisan part and install it in the same visit. Find local grill repair techs, or search for a pro by ZIP code. The Artisan brand page lists companies that service these grills.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes Artisan grills?

Artisan is made by Alfresco. Many parts, such as knobs, regulators, valves and the infrared sear burner, are sold as shared Alfresco and Artisan parts.

Where is the serial number on an Artisan grill?

Pull out the drip tray. The rating label with the model and serial number is on the grill body underneath it.

How much does an Artisan burner cost?

A factory U-burner runs about $205 to $235. Exact-fit aftermarket burners run about $99 to $119, and the infrared sear burner is about $430 to $470.

Are aftermarket Artisan parts any good?

Exact-fit aftermarket burners, grates and briquette trays are a fair way to save if they match your series and serial range. Stick with OEM for valves, regulators and manifolds.

Why are there two parts diagrams for my Artisan grill?

AAEP and ARTP grills changed at serial 18-00000. Grills up to 17-99999 use some different parts, so check the serial before ordering.

How we get our pricesPrices come from current listings at authorized parts dealers, the Pro Grill parts store, manufacturer parts sites and Amazon, checked by hand. We list OEM (factory) parts and, where a decent one exists, aftermarket or universal parts. Prices change with supply and model year, so treat these as ranges and confirm the exact part for your model and serial number before you order.
