Price insights

  • Main burner (stainless tube): about $62
  • Cast stainless burner (C1C28): about $163
  • Infinity burner (S-Series): about $113
  • Infrared sear burner: about $113

Coyote is one of the most common mid priced built-in grills we see in outdoor kitchens. It costs less than Lynx or Fire Magic, it is built heavier than a big box grill, and its parts fall in that same middle ground. Most Coyote repairs run between $30 and $185 in parts. The parts that hurt are the cast burners on older models, the stainless grates, and a full rotisserie kit.

These prices come from large online parts dealers and Coyote's own store, checked in October 2026. Coyote parts are not as widely stocked as Weber or Napoleon, so expect some items to be on back order.

What drives the price of a Coyote part

  • The series. Coyote's C-Series is the core line and the S-Series adds the Infinity burner system, an infrared sear burner and ceramic briquettes. Older grills carry model numbers like C1C28, C1C34 and C1C36, newer ones start with C2. Many older CCX and CC models are still in service too.
  • The burner type. Coyote has used stainless tube burners, cast stainless burners and Infinity burners over the years. They are not interchangeable and the prices are very different.
  • Size. Grates and heat control grids are sized to the grill width, from 28 to 42 inches, so a 42 inch grill costs more to rebuild than a 28 inch grill.

Part by part breakdown

Burners

A standard Coyote main burner runs about $62. The cast stainless burner used on the older C1C28 runs about $163 each, which surprises people who expected tube burner prices. On S-Series grills, the Infinity burner runs about $113, and the infrared RapidSear burner also runs about $113. If you have four or five burners to replace, the bill adds up quickly. Our grill burner price guide compares these with other brands, and the infrared burner guide covers sear burners in more detail.

Before you replace a burner, make sure it is actually bad. Weak or uneven flame on a Coyote is often a spider web in the venturi or clogged ports, not a burned out burner. A thorough cleaning sometimes brings it back.

Valves

Coyote valves are reasonably priced. Most main burner valves run about $30, for both propane and natural gas. The propane valve for the C1C28 and CCX2 is about $57. Valves are gas safety parts, so buy genuine Coyote and have the system leak tested after the swap. Our grill valve cost guide has more on valve pricing and when they fail.

Cooking grates

Coyote grates are heavy stainless rod and they are priced like it. A single section runs about $125 to $185 depending on bar count and grill size. A 36 inch grill usually has more than one section, so a full set can run several hundred dollars. The good news is that these grates last a long time if you keep them clean. See the cooking grate cost guide for more.

Heat control grids and briquettes

The stainless heat control grids that sit over the burners run about $37 to $80 each, depending on size. The ceramic briquette grid used on S-Series grills runs about $68. These are wear parts, and in salt air they rust faster. Our heat plate and briquette tray guide covers this category across brands.

Ignition and lights

A three port spark module runs about $38. Coyote grills with control panel lights use an LED light switch at about $38 and a transformer at about $53. Knobs are about $15 each, and a hood thermometer is about $23. More detail is in our igniter parts guide and grill light cost guide.

Rotisserie

Coyote sells the rotisserie as a full kit with motor, spit and forks. Kits run about $296 to $349 depending on grill width. See our rotisserie parts cost guide for motor-only options on other brands.

OEM vs aftermarket

There is very little real aftermarket for Coyote. You can find universal spark modules and generic regulators, but burners, grates, heat grids and valves are best bought genuine. Generic parts sized for another brand rarely line up with Coyote's burner mounts and valve spacing. For valves and anything else that carries gas, stay with OEM.

Find your model and serial number first

Coyote has changed burners and grates across model years, so the model number alone is not always enough. Look for the rating label on the grill, usually behind or under the drip tray, on the side of the firebox, or under the control panel. Write down the full model number (for example C2C36LP or C1SL36NG), the serial number and the gas type. A photo of the old part with a tape measure next to it also helps.

DIY or hire a pro

Grates and heat grids lift out, and burners on most Coyote grills come out with a cotter pin or a screw. Many owners handle those. Valves, spark modules, light wiring and any gas leak are different. On a built-in grill the valve manifold and wiring sit behind the control panel inside the island, and the head sometimes has to be pulled forward. Labor cost depends on how the grill is installed, how corroded the hardware is, and whether the part is in stock.

Most grill repair pros in our network are dealers or have dealer accounts, so they can usually order the correct Coyote part and install it in the same visit. You can find a grill pro near you by ZIP code. If your Coyote is part of a larger outdoor kitchen, an outdoor kitchen cleaning can be booked at the same time.
