  • U-burner (main convection burner): about $120
  • Infrared burner: about $290
  • Main burner valve: about $90
  • Valve without switch (LED series): about $112

Luxor grills are built by American Heating Technologies, which is where the AHT in every Luxor model number comes from. They are heavy, well-equipped grills with U-burners, an infrared rotisserie burner on most models, and lights. Parts are reasonably priced for a built-in grill, but Luxor is a smaller brand with fewer dealers than Lynx or Fire Magic, so the bigger problem is often availability, not price.

Most Luxor repairs fall between $50 and $300 in parts.

What drives the price of Luxor parts

  • The part itself. Knobs, bezels and push buttons are cheap. Burners, valves and grids run about $90 to $290. Big structural parts like a firebox or hood are in a different league.
  • Grill width. Luxor makes 30, 36, 42 and 54 inch grills. Burners are shared across sizes, but manifolds, warming racks, briquette trays and grids are sized.
  • Fuel type. Valves for natural gas and propane are separate part numbers.
  • LED vs standard series. LED models use different valves and wiring to run the knob lights.
  • Availability. A number of Luxor parts (end caps, handles, regulators, back burners, grease trays) are special order with price on request and a 1 to 4 week wait.

Part-by-part breakdown

Burners

The stainless U-burner is the same part on the 30, 42 and 54 inch built-in and freestanding grills, and it costs about $120. That is a good price for a built-in grill burner. The infrared burner is about $290 and is often out of stock, so order early if yours is cracked or the ceramic face is crumbling. More in our grill burner price guide and infrared burner guide.

Valves and manifolds

Main burner valves run about $90 for the standard convection burner valve and about $112 for the version used on LED series grills. The rotisserie back burner valve on propane grills runs about $155. A 30 inch manifold is about $300. All of these carry gas, so buy factory parts, confirm natural gas vs propane, and leak test after installing. Our valve cost guide explains why universal valves are a bad idea.

Ignition

Luxor uses a battery spark generator (a small black box running on a 1.5V battery). Typical prices:

  • Spark generator: about $98
  • Main burner electrode: about $51 to $64 depending on wire length
  • Push button: about $15

Before buying anything, put in a new battery and look at the electrode tip. A cracked ceramic insulator or a tip that has moved away from the burner is the usual cause of a burner that will not light. See our ignition parts guide.

Grids, briquette trays and racks

Luxor cooking grids run about $180 for a medium V-shaped grid, about $190 for the wide one, and about $290 for a round-rod grid. The 30 inch briquette tray is about $250. Universal ceramic briquettes run about $47 for a 50 pack if your tray is fine and only the briquettes are worn. Warming racks run about $168 for 42 inch and about $290 for 30 inch. Compare in our grill grates guide and briquette tray guide.

Knobs and trim

Control knobs are about $36 and bezels about $20. Knobs go out of stock at times, so if you need a full set, ask before you pull the old ones. Our knob price guide has more.

Big parts

A 42 inch firebox runs about $610 and a 42 inch hood about $1,100, both special order. If the firebox is rusted through, compare that cost with a new grill before you commit. Our repair vs replace guide walks through the math.

OEM vs aftermarket

There is almost no aftermarket support for Luxor. Ceramic briquettes, push buttons and some universal rotisserie motors are about it. Burners, grids, valves and electrodes come from the factory parts line. For valves, manifolds and regulators, OEM is the only sensible choice.

How to find your model and serial number

Get the model and serial number before ordering. On freestanding Luxor grills the rating plate is inside the cart on the cabinet wall. On built-in grills, look on the grill body around the drip tray opening and under the control panel, or check your owner's manual and original invoice. The model starts with AHT, then the width, then letters such as R for rotisserie, F for freestanding, BI for built-in and L for the LED series. A photo of the plate saves a lot of back and forth.

DIY vs hiring a pro

Grids, briquettes, knobs, batteries and a U-burner swap are fair owner jobs. Valves, the manifold and the rotisserie burner involve gas connections. Lighting and LED problems take electrical diagnosis. Labor depends on how the grill is installed, the condition of the hardware, and whether the part needs to be ordered, which on a Luxor often means a second visit.

Most companies in our network are dealers or have dealer accounts, so they can usually order the right Luxor part and install it in one trip once it arrives. Browse grill repair companies or look up a pro by ZIP. A deep cleaning often fixes low heat and uneven flame too, so ask about grill cleaning service when you book.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes Luxor grills?

Luxor grills are made by American Heating Technologies, which is why model numbers start with AHT.

How much is a Luxor grill burner?

The stainless U-burner costs about $120 and fits the 30, 42 and 54 inch grills. The infrared burner is about $290.

Why is my Luxor part special order?

Luxor is a smaller brand, so many parts such as handles, end caps, regulators and grease trays are ordered from the factory as needed. Expect 1 to 4 weeks.

Why won't my Luxor grill light?

Replace the 1.5V battery in the spark generator first, then check the electrode for cracks or bad positioning. Electrodes run about $51 to $64 and the spark generator about $98.

Are there aftermarket Luxor parts?

Very few. Universal briquettes and push buttons work, but burners, grids, valves and electrodes are factory parts.

How we get our pricesPrices come from current listings at authorized parts dealers, the Pro Grill parts store, manufacturer parts sites and Amazon, checked by hand. We list OEM (factory) parts and, where a decent one exists, aftermarket or universal parts. Prices change with supply and model year, so treat these as ranges and confirm the exact part for your model and serial number before you order.
