Buy a New BBQ or Replace Your Current BBQ
Talk with people who sell, install, clean and repair barbecues every day. We can help you choose a new BBQ that fits your space, your cooking style and your budget.
Buying a new BBQ should be exciting—not confusing. Built-in or cart? Propane or natural gas? How large? Which brand? How much should you spend? There are hundreds of barbecue choices, but the right one depends on how and where you actually plan to cook.
Pro Grill can help before you buy. Call or text us, tell us about your outdoor space and what you want from your next barbecue, and we'll help narrow the choices. If you're local, we also invite you to call and arrange a visit to our San Juan Capistrano showroom where you can see many of the grills we sell in person.

Why Buy Your Next BBQ From a Company That Actually Services Barbecues?
A retailer can tell you what is printed on a specification sheet. Our technicians see what happens to BBQs years after they leave the showroom. We clean them, diagnose them, replace burners and ignition systems, locate parts and see which grills are still worth repairing after years outdoors.
That experience changes the way we talk about a new barbecue. We care about construction, serviceability, parts support and how the grill may hold up—not only how many features are listed on the box.
Start With the Way You Want to Use Your BBQ
The best BBQ for one family may be completely wrong for another. Someone who cooks burgers twice a month has different priorities from a homeowner who grills several nights a week, entertains large groups or wants restaurant-style searing and rotisserie cooking.
Think about how many people you normally cook for, whether you entertain, how much counter space you have, whether you want side burners or specialty cooking zones, and whether the barbecue will live in a permanent outdoor kitchen or needs to move around the patio.
You do not need to answer every question before calling us. In fact, that is exactly where we can help. Tell us what you cook, what you have now and what you wish your current BBQ did better. We can begin narrowing down sizes, brands and features from there.

Built-In BBQ or Barbecue on a Cart?
One of the first decisions is whether you want a built-in barbecue or a freestanding BBQ on a cart. Neither is automatically better. The right answer depends on your space, budget and how permanent you want the installation to be.
A natural choice for an existing BBQ island or a new outdoor kitchen. Built-ins create a clean integrated look and can be paired with storage, refrigeration and other outdoor appliances.
A freestanding barbecue offers flexibility and can be an excellent choice when you do not have an island or want the ability to reposition the grill.
If a grill already occupies your island, fit becomes critical. Visit our BBQ grill replacement and sales page for our dedicated replacement process.

A Better BBQ Is About More Than a Bigger Price Tag
Premium barbecues generally justify their price through construction, materials, cooking performance, component quality, warranty support and long-term serviceability—not simply a luxury badge.
Many of the higher-end BBQs we sell make extensive use of 304-grade stainless steel in important components. Quality stainless construction can provide excellent corrosion resistance and durability when the barbecue is properly installed and maintained.
We also look at the things you may not notice on day one: burners, cooking grids, valves, ignition components, firebox construction and whether replacement parts are likely to be available when the barbecue eventually needs service.
How Long Should a Good BBQ Last?
There is no single lifespan for every barbecue. Climate, coastal exposure, how frequently you cook, cleaning habits, whether the grill is covered, construction quality and the availability of replacement parts all affect how long a BBQ remains useful.
At the lower end of the market, inexpensive grills sold through large hardware and big-box stores can sometimes deteriorate surprisingly quickly outdoors. Depending on the materials, environment and care, some owners may find themselves considering another barbecue after only a few years. A low purchase price is not always the lowest long-term cost.
A quality premium barbecue is a different type of purchase. We regularly work on older premium BBQs that are still worth cleaning and repairing because the core construction remains solid and service parts are available. A well-maintained Fire Magic, for example, can be the type of barbecue that remains in service for 20 years or more. That is not a guaranteed lifespan—installation, environment, use and maintenance matter—but it illustrates why construction and long-term parts support deserve consideration when you buy.

How Much Should You Spend on a New BBQ?
Pro Grill offers barbecue options across a range of budgets. Many of the BBQs we sell start around $1,500 and go up from there depending on brand, size, materials, features and whether you are buying a built-in or freestanding model.
The goal is not to push everyone toward the most expensive barbecue. It is to help you understand what you gain as you move between price levels and where spending more may—or may not—make sense for the way you cook.
If you already have a budget in mind, tell us. If you do not, we can show you the differences between options and help you establish a realistic range.
What can change the price?
BBQ width and cooking area, stainless-steel construction, burner design, infrared or searing systems, rotisserie equipment, lighting, smart features, cart configuration, installation requirements and brand all influence the final price.
For an existing built-in space, modifications or installation work may also affect the total project. Our replacement BBQ specialists can help when fit and installation are the main concern.

Propane or Natural Gas?
Choose the fuel configuration that matches your property and the way you want to use the barbecue. Natural gas can be convenient for a permanent outdoor kitchen because there is no cylinder to refill. Propane is useful where a natural-gas connection is unavailable and is common with freestanding BBQs.
Fuel type is something to decide before ordering. A propane barbecue and a natural-gas barbecue are not simply interchangeable. If you are unsure what your current setup uses, call us and we can help you determine the next step.
If you already own a BBQ and are considering changing fuels, read our gas grill conversion guide. Not every manufacturer or model should be converted.

Your Outdoor Cooking Space Can Be More Than the BBQ
A new barbecue may be the centerpiece, but it can also be the starting point for a more complete outdoor cooking area. If you are building or upgrading a BBQ island, think about how you want the entire space to work when family and friends are outside.
A properly planned outdoor kitchen or BBQ island can integrate the barbecue with counters, storage and other outdoor appliances.
Outdoor refrigeration, drawers and storage can keep drinks, tools and cooking supplies close to the barbecue instead of sending everyone back inside.
Depending on your plans, pizza ovens, side burners and other outdoor cooking equipment can expand what you can prepare beyond traditional grilling.
What Makes Pro Grill Different From Buying a BBQ From a Typical Store?
The sale is only the beginning of your relationship with a barbecue. Eventually it gets dirty. Igniters wear. Burners age. Grates and briquette systems may need attention. A component can fail years after the model disappears from a retailer's showroom.
Pro Grill is built around the entire life of the BBQ. We provide professional BBQ cleaning, BBQ repair, grill inspections, barbecue maintenance, parts support, sales and replacement.
That means you can call us when you are deciding what to buy, and you can call the same company years later when the barbecue needs service. For many customers, that long-term support is more valuable than buying from a retailer whose involvement ends when the grill is delivered.
Premium BBQ Brands, Different Personalities
There is no single “best” barbecue for every buyer. Pro Grill works with many major outdoor cooking manufacturers, and we can help compare construction, features, size, serviceability and price rather than choosing by logo alone.

Twin Eagles
Premium outdoor cooking equipment for buyers who place a high value on construction, performance and a refined built-in presentation.

DCS
Distinctive premium BBQ options with substantial cooking features for outdoor kitchens and serious home grilling.

And Many More
We work with a broad range of barbecue manufacturers. See the BBQ brands Pro Grill sells and services.
Already Have a Built-In BBQ That Needs to Be Replaced?
This page is designed to help you think about buying your next barbecue. If you already have a built-in BBQ and the main question is “What new grill will fit this existing opening?”, we have a separate resource specifically for that.
Built-in replacement involves cutout dimensions, depth, countertop configuration, gas type, ventilation, clearances and installation requirements. Two grills advertised at the same nominal width do not necessarily fit the same opening.
Visit our dedicated BBQ Grill Replacement & Sales page for measurement, fit, replacement and installation information.

Many of the grills we sell begin around $1,500 and increase depending on brand, size, construction and features. Call us with your budget and we can help narrow the options.
Do you sell built-in and freestanding BBQs?
Yes. We can help with built-in barbecue grills for outdoor kitchens as well as freestanding grills on carts.
Can I see grills before buying?
Yes. Call us to discuss visiting our San Juan Capistrano showroom, where we have many of the grills we sell on display.
Can you help me determine what BBQ fits my existing island?

Should I buy propane or natural gas?
That depends on your property and how you plan to use the BBQ. We can help you identify the appropriate fuel configuration before you order.
Why consider a premium stainless-steel BBQ?
Quality materials, construction, cooking components, serviceability and parts support can make a premium barbecue a longer-term purchase when properly installed and maintained.
Can a premium BBQ really last 20 years?
Some can remain serviceable for 20 years or longer, but there is no guaranteed lifespan. Brand, materials, environment, use, maintenance and parts availability all matter.
Will Pro Grill service the BBQ after I buy it?
Yes. Cleaning, maintenance, inspection and repair are central Pro Grill services, which is one reason buying from a full-service BBQ company can be valuable long after the original sale.
