Here's what to know about scheduling your cleanings, using your Protection Plan benefits and keeping the plan working for you throughout the year.
How are my two included grill cleanings scheduled?
Your Protection Plan includes professional grill cleaning approximately every 6 months, generally spaced about six months apart. Your 12-month cycle follows your Protection Plan enrollment date — it is not based on the calendar year. For example, if your first qualifying cleaning is in October, that begins your 12-month cycle and your next included cleaning is approximately six months later. To keep the plan simple, Pro Grill automatically schedules your recurring cleaning approximately every six months. By enrolling, you agree to provide our technician access to the BBQ even if no one is home. You do not need to be present for the cleaning. If the scheduled date does not work for you, contact us in advance and we can move the appointment a few days earlier or later, subject to availability.
How does my first payment and first cleaning work?
If Pro Grill cleaned your grill within the last 30 days, or you have an upcoming Pro Grill cleaning already scheduled within the next 30 days, you can start with the regular monthly Protection Plan amount. If not, your first cleaning is charged at the regular cleaning price for your grill size less your 10% Protection Plan discount. In month 2, the regular monthly Protection Plan charge begins. Approximately five months later, we return for your next included cleaning and continue the regular six-month cleaning schedule.
When do I receive my bristle-free grill brush?
Protection Plan customers receive one complimentary high-quality, bristle-free grill brush each year. Your grill brush can be provided during one of your qualifying scheduled Pro Grill service visits.
Can I schedule another cleaning before six months?
Yes. You do not have to wait for your next included cleaning. If your grill needs attention sooner, Protection Plan customers can schedule additional qualifying grill cleanings at the Protection Plan discount rate.
What if my grill needs repair between cleanings?
Your Protection Plan benefits extend beyond cleaning. Protection Plan customers receive 20% off qualifying repair labor and , along with one complimentary inspection and diagnosis visit per year.
How do I know which grill size to select?
Protection Plan pricing is based on the width of your primary grilling area. Use the How do I measure my grill? guide above the pricing options. If you're still unsure, Pro Grill can help confirm your grill size before enrollment.
What happens if I cancel before my next included cleaning?
If you need to cancel your Protection Plan, contact Pro Grill before your next scheduled cleaning. Any unused future cleaning or Protection Plan benefit will be handled according to the Protection Plan terms that applied when you enrolled.
Are the Protection Plan benefits included in addition to my two cleanings?
Yes. Your two included professional grill cleanings are the foundation of the Protection Plan. The listed discounts, complimentary services, grill brush and priority benefits are additional Protection Plan benefits.
Do I need to be home for my scheduled cleaning?
No. A key part of the Protection Plan is allowing Pro Grill access to your BBQ for the automatically scheduled cleaning even when no one is home. Please make sure the grill and work area are accessible on the scheduled service date. If you need to adjust the date, contact us in advance and we can usually move it a few days earlier or later, subject to availability.
What if my grill is larger than 60 inches?
Contact Pro Grill before enrolling. Larger, specialty or unusually configured grills may need individual pricing so we can confirm the correct Protection Plan option.
Is the Pro Grill Protection Plan a warranty or extended warranty?
No. The Pro Grill Protection Plan is a maintenance and service benefits plan, not a warranty or extended warranty. Enrollment does not extend, replace or modify the manufacturer’s warranty on your grill, replacement parts or other components. The plan provides the professional cleaning services, discounts, inspections and other benefits specifically included with your Protection Plan.
