Complete service for Turbo outdoor grills.

Turbo grills have been installed in outdoor kitchens for years, which means we work on everything from newer equipment to older grills that have already provided many seasons of cooking.

Turbo is one of the grill names closely associated with Barbeques Galore. Because the brand has been around for a long time, the Turbo grills we encounter in customers' homes can vary significantly in age, construction, features and available replacement parts.

Some customers contact us because their Turbo grill will not ignite. Others have weak heat, uneven flames, deteriorated burners, worn cooking grids, damaged heat-distribution components or controls that are no longer operating correctly. In other cases, nothing has technically failed—the grill simply needs a thorough professional cleaning after years of regular use.

Our goal is not to assume every Turbo needs the same solution. A relatively simple repair may restore an otherwise good grill. A professional cleaning may reveal that the main components are still in excellent condition. On a significantly older grill, however, the condition of the equipment and availability of parts may make replacement a more sensible long-term choice.

Repair

Turbo Grill Repair

Diagnosis and service for burners, ignition, controls, gas-delivery components, low heat, uneven flame and other common Turbo BBQ problems.

Cleaning

Turbo Grill Cleaning

Professional deep cleaning for built-in and freestanding Turbo grills with accumulated grease, carbon and cooking residue.

Replacement

New Turbo Grills

When an older Turbo no longer makes sense to repair, we can help evaluate replacement options for the existing outdoor kitchen.

Turbo & Barbeques Galore Dealer

We can help with the grill, the parts and the replacement.

That gives Turbo owners options—especially when an older grill has reached the point where repair and replacement both deserve consideration.

Turbo Grill Parts

When compatible components remain available, we can help identify the appropriate parts for the specific Turbo model rather than guessing based on appearance alone.

New Turbo Grills

If replacing the complete grill is the better option, Pro Grill can help with new Turbo equipment and the details involved in replacing an existing built-in grill.

Repair or Replace?

Because we can service existing equipment and also provide replacement grills, we can help evaluate both paths rather than treating every aging grill as another repair.

Turbo Grill Models

We work with different generations of Turbo grills.

Model identification matters because construction, features and replacement-part availability can vary between Turbo generations.

Turbo

Turbo gas grills include built-in and freestanding configurations designed for residential outdoor cooking.

Turbo Elite

Premium Turbo equipment with additional features and heat-management components that may require different service considerations.

Grand Turbo

Larger premium Turbo cooking equipment offering additional cooking capacity and outdoor-kitchen features.

Turbo STS

An older Turbo generation still found in many outdoor kitchens. Parts availability varies considerably by model and component.

Older Turbo Models

Many previous generations remain in service, making model identification especially important before ordering replacement parts.

Built-In Turbo Grills

Built-in models require additional consideration when replacement is needed because the existing island dimensions and installation conditions must be evaluated.

Turbo Grill Troubleshooting

What is your Turbo grill doing?

You do not need to know which part has failed before contacting us. Start with the symptoms.

Turbo Grill Won't Light

Ignition trouble can involve electrodes, wiring, ignition modules, burner condition, gas delivery or another part of the lighting system.

Turbo Grill Has Low Heat

Weak heat may involve burner condition, gas supply, regulators, valves, orifices or another part of the fuel-delivery system.

One Burner Won't Light

A problem isolated to one burner can help narrow the diagnosis toward that burner and its related ignition and control components.

Uneven Cooking Temperature

Hot and cold areas can result from burner condition, heat-distribution components, gas delivery or accumulated buildup.

Igniter Clicks but Doesn't Light

Hearing a spark does not necessarily mean the complete ignition and fuel-delivery system is operating correctly.

Burners Are Deteriorated

Burners operate in a harsh environment and can eventually corrode or develop damage that affects flame distribution.

Briquettes Are Dirty or Broken

Applicable Turbo models use ceramic heat-distribution components that can accumulate grease or deteriorate after extensive use.

Knob or Valve Problem

A control that becomes difficult to operate or no longer regulates flame correctly may require evaluation of the knob, valve or related parts.

Rear Burner Isn't Working

Turbo models equipped with rotisserie or rear-burner systems can develop problems separate from the primary cooking burners.

The Grill Has Several Problems

Multiple problems on an older Turbo deserve a broader evaluation because repair cost and parts availability can affect whether continued repair makes sense.

Not sure what's wrong with your Turbo?

That's what diagnosis is for. Tell us what the grill is doing and let us help determine the appropriate next step.

Turbo Grill Components

Burners, valves, ignition, briquettes, grates and more.

A grill is a collection of systems working together. Good diagnosis means finding the actual cause of the problem before replacing parts.

Burners

Burners create the grill's cooking heat and can eventually deteriorate after years of repeated heating and cooling.

Turbo BBQ Repair

Diagnose the problem before ordering parts.

One of the easiest mistakes to make with a grill repair is replacing the component that appears worn without first confirming what is actually causing the symptom.

A Turbo grill with weak heat may have deteriorated burners, but weak burner output can also involve the regulator, gas supply, valves, orifices or another part of the fuel-delivery system.

The same principle applies to ignition. A grill that does not light may have an ignition problem, but successful ignition also depends on fuel reaching a burner that is capable of establishing a proper flame.

Diagnosis becomes even more important as a Turbo gets older. If certain replacement components are limited or expensive, we want to identify the actual failure before deciding which parts should be replaced.

Our professional BBQ repair service is designed to begin with the problem and work toward the appropriate repair rather than simply replacing parts at random.

Turbo BBQ cleaning and service
Turbo Grill Cleaning

Professional cleaning for Turbo and Barbeques Galore grills.

A Turbo grill does not need to be broken to benefit from professional service. Some grills simply have years of accumulated grease, carbon and cooking residue throughout the interior.

Residue collects below the cooking grids, around heat-distribution components, near burners and throughout grease-management areas. As buildup becomes heavier, inspecting the actual condition of the components becomes more difficult.

Our professional grill cleaning service is designed to address heavy buildup throughout appropriate accessible areas of the BBQ.

Pro Grill uses non-toxic, food-grade degreasing products along with high-temperature steam as part of our professional cleaning process. The objective is to remove accumulated cooking residue while allowing the grill and its components to be properly evaluated.

This can be especially useful on an older Turbo. Once years of buildup have been removed, deteriorated burners, worn heat-distribution components, damaged cooking grids and other problems can become much easier to see.

Turbo Heat Distribution

Look below the cooking grids when heat becomes uneven.

Burners matter, but the components positioned between the burner flame and your food matter too.

Applicable Turbo grills use ceramic heat-distribution components positioned above the burners. These materials absorb and radiate heat while helping distribute burner output across the cooking area.

Because these components sit directly below the food, they are also exposed to grease, marinades and food drippings. Heavy residue can accumulate over time, while ceramic pieces may eventually crack or deteriorate.

The support system underneath the ceramic material is equally important. A deteriorated support or tray can prevent otherwise usable briquettes from sitting correctly above the burner.

This is one reason we do not automatically blame every uneven-heating complaint on the burners. The entire path from burner flame to cooking surface should be considered.

Turbo & Barbeques Galore Parts

The correct Turbo part starts with the correct model.

This becomes increasingly important as a grill gets older.

Turbo grills contain many replaceable components, including burners, cooking grids, ignition parts, knobs, valves, regulators, heat-distribution components, trays and other hardware.

When the correct replacement component remains available, repairing the existing grill can be an excellent option. There is little reason to replace an otherwise good built-in BBQ simply because one serviceable component has reached the end of its life.

The challenge comes with older generations. Turbo grills have been sold for many years, and the components used on one generation should not automatically be assumed to fit another.

A burner that looks almost identical may have different mounting points or dimensions. Ignition systems can change. Valve and manifold configurations can differ. Heat-distribution systems and cooking grids may also vary by model.

That is why the grill's identification information is useful before parts are ordered. Photographs can also help us understand which generation of equipment is installed and which component appears to need attention.

Helpful information to send us: photograph the Turbo model label when possible, take a full picture of the grill, and send close-up photos of the component or problem area. Include whether the grill uses natural gas or propane if you know.

Gas & Ignition Systems

Fuel, controls, burners and ignition all work together.

When a Turbo grill does not light, it is easy to assume that the igniter is the problem. Sometimes it is. But establishing flame requires several systems to work correctly at the same time.

Fuel must reach the grill at an appropriate pressure. The control valve must regulate the fuel. The orifice must meter the proper amount toward the burner. The burner must be in suitable condition. Finally, the ignition source must establish flame at the correct location.

This is why an igniter that clicks does not automatically mean the ignition system is completely functional—and an igniter that does not click does not tell us anything about the condition of the burner or gas-delivery system.

Low heat requires the same broader approach. Burner deterioration is one possibility, but regulators, gas supply, valves, orifices and other conditions can also affect burner output.

Gas safety: if you smell gas, suspect a leak, see damaged gas components or believe a valve, manifold, regulator, hose or connection is unsafe, discontinue use of the grill and have it properly evaluated before operating it again.

Older Turbo Grill Repair

What about older Turbo STS grills?

Turbo STS grills are still installed in many outdoor kitchens, but their age makes parts availability an important part of deciding whether repair still makes sense.

Turbo STS repair depends heavily on the part you need.

We still encounter older Turbo STS grills in outdoor kitchens. Many of these grills have been in service for years, and some remain structurally solid enough that continued repair may still be worthwhile.

The biggest issue is parts availability. The Turbo STS is old enough that replacement-part support is not the same as it is for a current Turbo grill.

Certain Turbo STS components may still be available. However, other original STS parts are no longer produced, can be difficult to source or may no longer make financial sense to replace.

This is why we do not automatically tell every Turbo STS owner that the grill needs to be replaced. At the same time, we cannot assume that every older STS can still be restored simply by ordering new parts.

The exact model and failed system matter.

If an older STS needs one available component and the rest of the grill remains in good condition, repairing it may still be a sensible investment.

If the grill requires a component that is no longer manufactured, the situation changes. The same is true when several major components have deteriorated at the same time.

For example, an aging grill that needs burners, ignition work, deteriorated cooking components and a discontinued control-system part may no longer be a good candidate for continued repair.

At that point, the money being invested into a decades-old grill needs to be compared with the cost and benefits of replacing the complete unit.

Because Pro Grill can help with Turbo and Barbeques Galore replacement equipment as well as repair, we can help move from one option to the other when necessary.

Have an older Turbo STS?

Send us the model information, photographs and a description of what the grill is doing. We can help determine whether the needed components are still available and whether repair makes sense.

Turbo Grill Replacement

We can replace an older Turbo when repair no longer makes sense.

This is particularly valuable for older built-in Turbo grills when important components are no longer available.

Built-in Turbo grills are often installed in permanent BBQ islands, which means replacement involves more than simply choosing another grill that looks approximately the same size.

The existing cutout dimensions matter. The countertop depth matters. The grill's gas type and connections need to be considered. Clearances, ventilation and the dimensions of the replacement grill also need to be evaluated.

This is one of the advantages of working with a company that can evaluate the old grill and also help with a new one. If repair is practical, we can pursue repair. If the old Turbo has reached the end of its practical service life, we can help move toward replacement.

A newer Turbo can also restore ongoing parts support and provide a fresh starting point for an outdoor kitchen that may otherwise still have many years of useful life.

Turbo Grill Service

How we approach your Turbo grill.

We start with the grill and its symptoms—not a guess about which part needs to be ordered.

Identify the Grill

Model information, fuel type and photographs help establish which Turbo generation and configuration is installed.

Understand the Symptoms

We look at what lights, what does not, how the flame behaves, whether heat is even and what changed when the problem began.

Evaluate the Systems

The related burner, ignition, fuel-delivery and heat-management components can then be considered together.

Choose the Right Path

Depending on the grill, the appropriate next step may be cleaning, repair, replacement parts or replacing the complete BBQ.

Why Pro Grill?

One company for Turbo cleaning, repair, parts and replacement.

Instead of looking at only one piece of the problem, we can help with the complete life cycle of your Turbo grill.

Turbo & Barbeques Galore Dealer

We can help with Turbo equipment and available parts in addition to servicing the grill already installed in your outdoor kitchen.

Experienced Grill Repair

Burners, ignition, valves, gas controls and heat-distribution systems can be evaluated before replacement components are ordered.

Professional Grill Cleaning

Can an old Turbo STS still be repaired?

Sometimes. Some Turbo STS components may still be available, while other original parts have become unavailable or impractical to replace. The specific model, failed component and overall condition of the grill should be evaluated before deciding.

Are all Turbo STS parts still available?

No. Parts availability varies. Some components may still be obtainable, while other original STS parts are no longer produced. This is why model identification is especially important on an older Turbo STS.

Can you replace my old Turbo grill?

Yes. When an older Turbo no longer makes sense to repair, Pro Grill can help evaluate replacement options. Built-in grill dimensions, gas type, ventilation and installation conditions should all be considered.

Why isn't my Turbo grill getting hot?

Low heat can involve burner condition, gas supply, regulators, valves, orifices or other fuel-delivery conditions. Diagnosis helps identify the actual cause before parts are replaced.

Should I repair or replace my old Turbo grill?

That depends on the grill's overall condition, the components that have failed, availability of those parts and the economics of continued repair. An otherwise good grill with one available failed component may be worth repairing, while a much older grill with several obsolete components may be a better replacement candidate.

What information should I send Pro Grill about my Turbo?

Send the model and serial information when available, the fuel type, a full photograph of the grill, close-up photographs of the problem area and a description of what the grill is doing.
